J Shaped Catheter Bendability For Surgical

The J-shaped catheter is a special catheter used in medical intervention procedures, and its shape is shaped like the letter "J". It is made of soft medical grade material with good bending and navigation ability. J-shaped catheter is widely used in cardiovascular intervention, angiography, urinary intubation, biliary drainage and other fields.

Product Description

The J-shaped catheter Applicable Surgery

1:Judkins Catheter: A coronary catheter is a common type of J-shaped catheter used for coronary angiography during interventional cardiovascular surgery. It has a special barb-like design that can be guided in the body to the entrance of the coronary arteries of the heart and angiography is performed by injecting contrast agents to assess the condition of the coronary arteries and related treatments.

2:Ureteral Catheter: Urinary catheters can also be used in a J-shaped design. It is used to treat urinary obstruction, stone removal surgery, or to guide and drain urine. The J-shaped design of the urinary catheter helps to enter the urethra through the bladder and then guide to a location such as the urinary tract, renal pelvis, or ureter.

3:Biliary Drainage catheters: Biliary drainage catheters are one of the catheters used in endoscopic surgery or for the treatment of biliary diseases. This catheter is usually J-shaped and can enter the gallbladder or bile duct through the biliary tract and is used to guide bile drainage, lithotomy, or other related treatments.

4:Other applications: J-shaped catheters are also used in other areas of medical procedures, such as vascular interventional surgery, colonoscopy, pacemaker placement, etc. In these applications, J-shaped catheters are designed to help navigate and traverse blood vessels or anatomical structures for specific therapeutic or diagnostic purposes.

The J-shaped catheter Features

Endoscopic ligation tubes have several advantages in endoscopic surgery:

Features and advantages:

Bending and navigation ability: The J-shaped catheter is uniquely designed to adapt to the curve and curvature of the blood vessel or duct and achieve accurate catheter guidance, improving maneuverability and success rate.

Soft and comfortable: The catheter is made of soft material with good flexibility and adaptability, which can minimize discomfort to the patient.

Multiple application areas: J-shaped catheter can be used for cardiovascular intervention, urinary tract intubation, biliary drainage and other medical procedures, with a wide range of applicability and flexibility.

Reliability and safety: The catheters are made of medical-grade materials and undergo rigorous quality control and biocompatibility testing to ensure product reliability and safety.

Available sizes and specifications: J-shaped catheters are available in a variety of sizes and specifications to meet different patient and surgical needs.

Parameters

Endoscopic Ligation Tube Parameters

Here are some examples of possible parameter specifications:

  • Size: J-shaped catheters are usually available in different sizes, including the length and diameter of the catheter. The length is usually measured in centimetres (cm) and the diameter is expressed in French dimensions (Fr).

  • Bend: The bend of the J-shaped catheter may vary by product. Curvature describes the degree of curvature and tilt of the catheter for better navigation and handling.

  • Materials: J-shaped catheters are usually made of soft, medical-grade materials, such as medical-grade plastic or silicone. These materials should have good biocompatibility and durability.

  • Strength and stiffness: The strength and stiffness of the conduit may vary from product to product. Some catheters may need to be stiff to maintain stability while navigating and traversing blood vessels or anatomical structures.

  • Application Areas: Different types of J-shaped conduits may be designed for specific application areas. For example, coronary catheters are used for coronary angiography, urinary catheters are used for urinary catheterization, etc. Product specifications may vary for different applications.

More Information

How to use J-Shaped Catheter ?

1.Preparation work:

Make sure the J-shaped catheter used is clean and complete, and check for damage or deformation.

Prepare other instruments and equipment as required, such as guide wire, guide wire, contrast agent, etc.

Patient preparation:

Keep the patient in an appropriate position and disinfect the area.

2.Local anesthesia (if required) :

Local anesthesia is administered at the site of operation as needed to reduce the patient's discomfort.

Guide wire placement:

Using the appropriate needle and puncture technique, puncture into the blood vessel or body cavity at the intended site.

The guide wire is inserted into the body through the piercing site until the predetermined target position is reached.

3.Guide catheter:

The J-shaped catheter is slowly inserted into the body along the guide wire, and through appropriate propulsion and rotation operations, the catheter is guided along the path until it reaches the target position.

Take care to follow medical procedures to ensure proper catheter guidance and position confirmation.

4.Operation and treatment:

Once the catheter reaches its target location, treatment, sampling, imaging, or other procedures can be performed depending on the specific operational needs.

5.Catheter removal:

After completing the required procedure, the catheter is slowly removed while bleeding is observed and controlled and the catheter is completely removed from the body.
